In Training

So Timmy and I have been throwing/running for the past 3 weeks (Timmy has been doing it for 3 months) with a friend of ours named Ken O'neal. Ken's been working with both of us on our throwing form and trying to strengthen our throwing muscles. He's very knowledgeable about baseball and the training aspects of it. It's been fun to get back into it.

I always felt like in all my years of playing baseball that I never even came close to my full potential as a pitcher. A mixture of bad coaching, laziness on my part, and other things played into that, but I always wondered what could come of it if I had, so I decided just to go out and practice and work on it and just see how much better I could get. Why not?

I feel like I've progressed in a short time, and Timmy has definitely progressed in his 3 months of working out. I never really realized how messed up my throwing motion has been, although I knew I was never doing it completely right. My arm feels stronger and hopefully will continue to get even stronger.

I also got some free cleats from Ryan last night. I never turn down anything that's free (well almost). Can't wait to use em' tonight.

God Bless everybody.

Oh, and by the way, is anyone besides me ready for Christmas. :)
