Weekend

This weekend went pretty well. Leslie had family come in, so we spent most of the weekend with them. We went to her sister's basketball game against Leake Academy in Carthage, MS. Oak Hill was absolutely slaughtered in that game. I think they lost by about 40 points. It got ugly real quick. But Ashlie did hit a three pointer towards the end of the game, so that was cool.

We watched a Documentary entitled "Undefeated" in the college Sunday School class yesterday. If you have never heard of Chucky Mullins, he was a defensive back for Ole Miss in 1989 who suffered a broken neck against Vanderbilt on homecoming, which left him paralyzed from the waist down. He passed away about three years after the incident. The documentary covers his childhood, his collegiate career leading up to the Vanderbilt game, and how he dealt with life after the incident, and how positive and upbeat he was. He inspired a lot people with the way he dealt with his paralysis. It is a very moving story and I recommend to anybody. Hopefully we will get to show it one Sunday night. In the college Sunday school class we are dealing with the issue of suffering, so it was a perfect video to show.

Everyone have a great Monday. And don't forget to leave a comment if you are the 2000th visitor to the blog. C-ya!
