The Lord Opens Doors

As was stated in the last post, God blessed Refuge with an oppurtunity to sing at St. Paul's M.B. Church last night. And let me just say, Praise God for all that He is able to do. We had a great time sharing songs and testimonies with the kids that were there, and they enjoyed it and let us know that. I love singing for people who really give you positive feedback, and that is what they did. It helps us to get into more when that happens. They clapped and laughed and even sang along a little bit. It was awesome and just another step toward crossing those racial and cultural boundaries that need to be torn down. They even gave us presents at the end of the service. I received a book called "Proverbs to live by". How cool is that!? I know that God will continue to open up doors for us and use us for His Glory and His purpose. I left feeling like we accomplished what God wanted us to accomplish last night and that is a good feeling, but I know that there is so much left to do to bring God's people together. God is able to do that.

Anyway, that's the scoop on last night and if you're reading this and need a group to sing for your next even just drop me an Email and I'll get back to you soon.

Side note: My blog is now being linked up from the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal Website. Thanks to Bobby Pepper for offering to post a link there. If you have come to this site from the daily journal site, I say to you, "Welcome! and come back often, just make sure you wipe your feet off before you come in." :)

Have a Great Saturday
