Labor Day Weekend

Happy Labor Day Weekend Everybody. If you are in the area this weekend then I look forward to seeing you at the Prairie Arts Festival. I will be there to get my funnel cake and my afternoon will be complete. MAN, are those things good, or what!? If you need a place to cool off, then come on over to the apartment behind the Post Office. I will probably be there in the afternoon. At least after lunch. Come sit a while and cool off with me.

Continue to pray for the victims of Katrina. Looks like a lot of lawlessness in New Orleans. It is basically a "third world country" there. There is plenty of oppurtunities to help with the relief effort. Please chip in anyway that you are able. The people still down there and the ones in shelters need much help. The outpouring of love by so many already shows that God still works, even during catastrophic times. I can definitely see him in all of this. I pray that many will come to know him through this tragedy. May peace be restored soon there so that the rescue efforts can continue.
