Casting Crowns Concert

I went to the Casting Crowns concert Saturday night. It was really good. There was a guy that opened the concert by the name of Josh Bates, who did a couple of songs with just his acoustic guitar. I really liked him. I bought his CD but haven't listened to it yet.

Building 429 (which comes from Ephesians 4:29) came on next. They were Okay. I just never really got into their stuff, but Leslie loved them.

Casting Crowns was great. You can really tell they don't just do this just so they can get up on stage and entertain, but they really have a ministry and they make sure everyone knows that. Really enjoyed them and I need to listen to their new CD, it has great new songs that they played Saturday.

Tony Nolan was the speaker and he was pretty funny. I need to watch his DVD that we bought. Boy, it seems like I haven't had time to do anything, doesn't it.

By the way, I am still feeling the effects of the near upset that Ole Miss almost pulled off Saturday afternoon over 6th ranked Alabama. If you can kick a ball at least 35 yards and straight, and you have any college eligibility left, please go play for Ole Miss's football team. They need you.

That's all for now.
